Pine Retreat is managed by Destination Big Bear located at 40957 Big Bear Blvd. Big Bear Lake, CA. 92315. Pick up your keys at Destination Big Bear.

There are several ways to get to Big Bear Lake. We recommend taking HWY 38 through Redlands up the “back side” of the mountain as there is less traffic and is more scenic. There is more traffic on the 330/18, but it is the easier route.

From the Los Angeles Area:

Take Interstate 10 East, to the 30 freeway North, to Hwy. 330 East. Hwy. 330 goes through Running Springs and turns into Hwy. 18. Follow Hwy. 18 East and turn right across the Big Bear Lake dam.

CA-18 becomes BIG BEAR BLVD, go 2.9 mi; Turn LEFT on PAINE RD – go 0.1 mi; Turn RIGHT on LAKE VIEW DR – Go 0.3 mi; LAKE VIEW DR becomes BIG BEAR BLVD.

From Orange County or the South Bay Area:

Take the 91 East (or the 55 North to the 91 East), to the 215 North, to Interstate 10 East, to the 30 freeway North, to Hwy. 330 East. Hwy. 330 goes through Running Springs and turns into Hwy. 18. Follow Hwy. 18 East and turn right across the Big Bear Lake dam. CA-18 becomes BIG BEAR BLVD.

From the San Diego Area:

Take Interstate 15 North, to the 215 North, to Interstate 10 East, to the 30 freeway North, to Hwy. 330 East which will take you up into the mountains. Hwy. 330 goes through Running Springs and turns into Hwy. 18. Follow Hwy. 18 East and turn right across the Big Bear Lake dam. CA-18 becomes BIG BEAR BLVD.

From the San Fernando Valley Area:

Take the 101 East, to the 134 East, to the 210 East, to Interstate 10 East, to the 30 freeway North, to Hwy. 330 East which will take you up into the mountains. Hwy. 330 goes through Running Springs and turns into Hwy. 18. Follow Hwy. 18 East and turn right across the Big Bear Lake dam. CA-18 becomes BIG BEAR BLVD.

From the Palm Springs Area:

Take Interstate 10 West to Yucaipa . Take the County Line Road off-ramp. Turn right. Follow County Line Road to Bryant St. Turn left. Follow Bryant St. to Highway 38. Turn right onto Highway 38. Follow Big Bear Blvd.

From the Las Vegas Area:

Take the Interstate 15 South, to Hwy 247 South. This will bring you to the Lucerne Valley . Go past two stop signs and turn left onto Hwy 18, which leads up the mountain to the Big Bear Valley . Follow Hwy 18 approximately 6 miles to Stanfield Cutoff. Turn left, drive across the lake. Turn right at the stop sign, follow Big Bear Blvd.
